$500 per Day Plus Travel

Most good ultrasound seminars cost more than $1,100, but you can have one of the same instructors you would see at such a seminar teach you in your own practice with your own ultrasound for less (Jim will bring an ultrasound if needed).

Terms and Conditions

In accepting consultation from Jim Schneider, MS, MA, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions. The customer agrees to pay $500 per day to Jim Schneider. The customer also agrees to pay travel expenses as follows:

• Actual cost of airline tickets and other public conveyances
• The current federal mileage deduction rate per mile driven in personal car (about 50 cents) plus 8 cents.
• The actual cost of lodging
• Thirty dollars per day for food plus $15 per partial day
• The customer agrees to be liable for food and lodging costs that occur during travel.
• The customer agrees to be be liable for additional travel expenses incurred due to inclement weather or other circumstances outside of Jim Schneider's control.

The customer agrees to pay at the time of Jim Schneider's departure from the customer's practice or before that time.

The customer agrees to give 30 days notice before canceling a meeting. The customer agrees to pay a cancellation fee of $100 if he/she must cancel without giving a full 30 days notice. The customer also agrees to be liable for any non-refundable travel expenses incurred after cancellation (e.g. non-refundable airline tickets).

In the event that bills are not paid within 30 days of the due date, the customer agrees to a late fee of 1.5% compounded monthly. The customer agrees to be responsible for any and all legal fees related to the collection of payments due.  The person authorizing this agreement represents that he/she has the authority within the customer company to do so, and the party signing for customer below agrees that he/she will be held personally liable for misrepresenting authority to enter into this agreement. 

In the event that any term or provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid, void or unenforceable, then the remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected, impaired or invalidated, and each such term and provision of this Agreement shall be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.  The customer may not assign or transfer this Agreement or any of its obligations hereunder without the other’s express prior written permission.  Each party represents and warrants that it has the right to enter into this Agreement, and its performance of the Agreement will not violate the terms of any contract, obligation, law, regulation or ordinance to which it is or becomes subject.  In the event that disputes, including payment issues, must be settled in court, the customer agrees that the courts of Columbus, OH shall have first jurisdiction and that, in the event that the courts of Columbus, OH are not able to adjudicate the dispute in question, that the courts of the state of Ohio have first jurisdiction.
